2025 Student Posters
OPA’s annual conference will be held on April 3-5th, 2025. Applications are accepted from both students and nonstudent members. Poster submissions will be reviewed prior to the conference and accepted posters will be disseminated digitally during the conference. Awards will be given during the conference (conference attendance is encouraged).
All Poster Submissions must be received by March 7, 2025.
If you are interested in submitting a proposal for a poster session, please email your proposal to [email protected] with the following information:
- Subject of email: OPA 2025 Conference Poster Submission
- The name(s) of the presenters and, if relevant, the name(s) of professors/instructors sponsoring the poster submission
- Title of the poster presentation
- Abstract (less than 300 words)
- Contact information, including email & phone numbers of primary applicant
- Optional: The award category under which you would like to be evaluated
Poster submissions will be reviewed prior to the conference and accepted posters will be disseminated digitally during the conference. Awards will be given during the conference (conference attendance is encouraged).

Research Teams who demonstrate excellence in one of the five categories above will be awarded $500 to help cover the costs of your research. Additionally, to celebrate our students’ hard work and showcase their research, we invite our students to deliver a 5-minute presentation on their posters during lunch on Friday, April 4th. This will not only highlight their efforts but also provide an opportunity to share valuable insights with our attendees.
We encourage your presentation to address the following:
- Introduce the study (title, what problem or gap does your research address, objective and hypothesis)
- Methods
- Key Findings
- Implications & Takeaways
